Mongkol Preechajan, 43, auditioned for the talent show by showcasing his ability to impersonate Britain's comedic legend, Mr Bean.

The father-of-one from Phuket, Thailand, walked out on the stage in Mr Bean's signature red tie and tweed blazer earning laughter from the crowd.

The comedian decided to perform as the accident-prone character because of his resemblances to Rowan Atkinson.

Mongkol auditioned for the show in 2016 where he performed a comedy routine with a toy dog.

He also danced to Mr Bombtastic and mirrored exaggerated body movements the Mr Bean character is known for.

The video on YouTube was viewed more than 3 million times with viewers commenting about the resemblance between Mongkol and Mr Bean.

One viewer said: 'He nailed it! On point movement and facial expressions!'

This appearance on the talent show helped the comedian land gigs in adverts and attending red carpet events.

Rowan Atkinson's Mr Bean character is popular in Asia and around the world because the comedy act has no language barrier.

Instead, people can find humour in the character's exaggerated facial expressions and body language in different scenarios.

Mongkol said to The Sun: 'I decided to perform as Mr Bean because kids and adults in Thailand love him.

My family and friends told me I should definitely go on TGT. It was an incredible experience and the work has come flooding in.'
